Tip passes for SJ residents coming in the mail

The Watkins Rd Transfer Station has been closed indefinitely after widespread asbestos was found.

Tip passes to use at the City of Armadale’s Hopkinson Rd transfer station should be arriving in your letterbox from the end of this week.

The passes are for general waste use as compensation for the indefinite closure of the Watkins Rd tip from last month.

Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale officers have advised residents not to mistake the passes for junk mail as only two passes are available per household and more cannot be redistributed.

Residents in rental properties will need to contact the house owner or property manager to obtain tip passes.

Owners have been asked to forward tip passes to their tenants.
