Live performances, a cuddly animal farm and the school’s much-loved pet show will be just some of the entertainment on offer at a local fair next week.

John Wollaston Anglican Community School’s fair will be held in Camillo next Saturday May 11, as part of the school’s 30-year celebrations.

Community engagement coordinator Amanda Barrett said the fair promises to be a fun-filled day with plenty to see, do, eat and enjoy for all young and old.

“There will be live entertainment with performances by singer Ezereve, a DJ, a local dance school and students,” she said.

“There will be a bouncy castle, giant slide and a face painter and attendees can also enjoy carnival games hosted by the classes or tempt their tastebuds at one of the food trucks.

“The parents and friends committee will be running a sausage sizzle, while hospitality students will be serving Devonshire Tea.”

A photo display showcasing many of the school’s memories and greatest achievements will be on show, while a number of markets will also be available with plenty of gifts for Mother’s Day.

Ms Barrett said the school’s much-loved pet show is sure to be a fair highlight, with prizes available for the prettiest and ugliest dogs and cats, one for the most unusual pet and another for the best in fancy dress.

The fair will take place at Centre Road, Camillo opposite Champion Lakes on May 11 from 10am to 3pm.
