Armadale’s Sprk Your Imagination was a workshop held at the Seville Grove Library on January 5, which allowed children to have an interactive experience with a robotic ball.

So popular was the event that it was sold out as users tried some amazing activities including direct movement, change colour and alter the sphere’s course with pre-programmed controls and basic coding.

If you missed out, there are plenty of other things to do in the City of Armadale this school holidays.

If you want to expand your creative mindset, there’s a sketching workshop at History House during museum opening hours.

For the green thumbs, or the not-so-green thumbs, you can learn about permaculture with expert Dr Ross Mars on Monday January 11. Booking is essential.

On Tuesday January 12, there is an interactive storytelling workshop. Hosted by award winning actor and playwright Tiffany Barton, who uses song, dance and drama games to include children in telling the story.
