Armadale residents will be able to experience the past like never before as the History House Museum presents its latest exhibition Memory Lane.

Armadale mayor Henry Zelones said the exhibition was bound to appeal to people interested in how the brain stores memories through the senses of touch, hearing and smell.

“The exhibition is thought provoking as it delves into what a memory is, how the brain stores memories, what childhood amnesia is and other fascinating facts relating to memories,” he said.

“Discover why memories change over time and find out what triggers a memory from your childhood.

“Part of the exhibition includes an activity where visitors can make a contribution to the memory wall or bottle a special memory which will be added to the collection in the exhibition.”

History House Museum is located in the Minnawarra Historic Precinct on Jull Street, Armadale.
