Rick Price is set to release his new Blues & Roots EP Wayfaring Stranger on September 29 to coincide with his performance at the Don Russell Performing Arts Centre on November 9.

The original hymns have spanned centuries with other gospel songs being written in the early 1900’s like Wayfaring Stranger, Amazing Grace, Wade In The Water, and Will The Circle Be Unbroken.

They have been covered by legends such as, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, Eva Cassidy, Oliva Newton-John, Ray Charles, Ed Sheeran and now Rick Price.

Rick recorded and produced Wayfaring Stranger in Nashville with legendary US musicians, Tom Bukovac on guitar, Dennis Crouch on bass, Jimmy Wallace on organ/piano and, Joshua Hunt on drums.

“I’ll be performing all the songs from my upcoming EP Wayfaring Stranger, a collection of some of my favourite last century gospel songs,” he said.

“I’ll also be revisiting some of my own hits like Heaven Knows, Not A Day Goes By and River Of Love.

“Can’t wait to be back with you once again in the homeland,” he said.
