A 43-year-old man has been charged for multiple alleged burglaries at residential building sites around Haynes, Hilbert and Forrestdale.
Police received reports of 26 alleged burglary and stealing incidents from partially built homes, including construction equipment, cabinetry, sinks and bathroom amenities.
A search warrant was executed on a premises in Armadale on Wednesday May 14 where officers seized approximately 500 stolen items.
It is expected the allegedly stolen items were worth a total estimated value of $50,000.
The 43-year-old was arrested and charged with 15 offences, including 13 counts of allegedly receiving stolen property, one count of alleged possession of allegedly stolen or unlawfully obtained property, and one count for alleged possession of prohibited drugs.
The accused is due to appear before Armadale Magistrates Court on June 9.
The investigation is ongoing, and detectives are seeking information from the public regarding the alleged stealing offences.
