The Academy season at Armadale Soccer Club Juniors has been a tremendous success.
The U14s have enjoyed a standout season, claiming league championships on two occasions and securing JDL1 football for next season.
They also reached the final of the Youth Club Championship and went out cruelly on penalties in the semi-finals of the JDL Cup.
The U13s achieved the important milestone of regaining promotion to JDL 1, while the U15s successfully retained their JDL 1 status and went out narrowly in the JDL Cup semi-finals, highlighting the continued strength and development across our junior pathway.
Armadale’s five JCL teams have also had a very proud finish to the season, having reached the finals.
This is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the hard work, commitment and teamwork shown throughout the season.
The U13 Boys JCL1 made runners-up after narrowly missing out on penalties, while the U13 Boys JCL2 also made runners-up following a tough match against Belmont, finishing top of the ladder in their league.
The U13 Boys JCL4 won against Beeliar, the U14 Girls JCL1 won against Leeming and the U14 Boys JCL3 won against Canning, while also finishing top of the ladder in their league.
As we look ahead, we are excited to build on this success under the leadership of our President, Kevin Brophy, and Secretary, Jada Hanna.
Their commitment and vision continue to drive the club forward and the future looks extremely bright for our junior section.
We are also wishing our U16 players all the very best as they transition into senior football. They were also beaten finalists on the Youth Club Championship.
It is particularly pleasing to see a significant number of these players being offered U18 opportunities, which is a testament to their hard work, talent and the strength of our development program.
Congratulations to everyone involved in a fantastic season.
