City of Gosnells Mayor Terresa Lynes and events staff get in the spirit of things to celebrate the announcement of the 2023/24 programs and events calendar.

A raft of show-stopping performances, electric events and family-friendly festivals are headed to Gosnells, following the release of the City’s 2023/24 events calendar.

The council will deliver more than 14 free or low-cost programs and events across the current financial year for people of all ages and abilities.

The events will be headlined by the popular Fusion Food and Culture Festival and Jingle All the Way, and including the return of family favourites Tropic Like It’s Hot and the Pop ‘n’ Rock Symphony with Perth Symphony Orchestra.

In addition, young and old can continue to enjoy the many other programs and events including the award-winning Ghost Walks, Sunset Cinemas screened in number of locations, Lunar New Year, Australia Day celebrations and more.

“We are incredibly proud to be delivering a very exciting, entertaining and jam-packed calendar of community events and programs across 2023/24,” Mayor Terresa Lynes said.

“Our events are free or low cost and suitable for people of all ages and abilities – and we’re expecting the community once again to attend these in droves.”

Events include Food Truck Hoedown, October 20; Fusion Food and Culture Festival, November 10-11; Jingle All The Way, December 10; Australia Day, January 26; Lunar New Year, February 10; Tropic Like It’s Hot, February 17-18; Sunset Cinemas, March 1, 8, 15 and 22; Pop n Rock Symphony, March 9; Ghost Walks, January 19, February 23, March 22; and the Community Art Exhibition and Awards May 18-26.
