Armadale Cricket Club delivered a full weekend of competitive cricket, with strong performances spread across both the two-day and one-day competitions. The round featured a commanding H Grade victory, several convincing wins, and a number of closely fought contests that went down to the wire.
4th Grade
Armadale 135 | SJ Blues 124 and 103/5
Armadale produced a solid performance in the 4th Grade match, highlighted by a strong batting contribution from Taymon McLaughlin, who top-scored with 45 off 38 balls, striking three fours and three sixes at a strike rate of nearly 120.
Rhett Jones and Christopher Quayle chipped in with crucial knocks to help build a competitive total.
Alex Pass was the standout, claiming five wickets for 26 runs off 13.1 overs, while Stanley Walker (2/30) and Sinju Karim (2/22) gave crucial breakthroughs to maintain pressure throughout the innings.
7th Grade
Armadale 221 | Riverton Rostrata 9-242
Armadale 7th Grade delivered a strong showing in a one-wicket loss at Riverton Reserve. Jayadev Balakrishnan (45 off 51) and Sujit Pankajakshan led the batting effort, with solid support from Athin Chandrasekhar in a competitive total of 221.
Wickets were spread across, with Ajith Rajagopal and Subin Changazhikunnel Thomas each taking two wickets.
One Day A
Cannington Tigers ODA 129 | Armadale ODA 5-130
Armadale ODA gave a composed all-round performance to secure a five-wicket victory.
Ammar Aslam Jan set the platform, while Sebastian Breskiewicz and Shahroz Hanif guided the chase home with a calm finishing.
Armadale’s bowlers delivered a collective effort, led by Sebastian Breskiewicz and Shahroz Hanif, restricting Cannington to 129 and setting up a controlled run chase.
One Day B
Armadale ODB 216 | Piara Waters ODB 200
Armadale ODB posted a strong total of 216, led by Leemon Thomas, Eldhose Baby and a late surge from Ahammed Rasheeq (24 off 11).
Defending the total, Armadale’s bowlers gave a disciplined effort, with Mejo Kurian (four wickets) and Ahammed Rasheeq (three wickets) leading the attack, well supported by contributions across the bowling unit to secure a 16-run victory.
One Day D
Armadale ODD 230 | Champion Lakes ODD 9-231
Armadale ODD posted a strong total of 230, built around an excellent innings from Roman Singh, well supported by Sahil Bhayana and Rohit Kumar.
Defending the total, Armadale’s bowlers kept the contest tight, led by Rohit Kumar, with wickets shared across the attack.
Despite a strong all-round effort, Champion Lakes edged home in a tense finish.
One Day E

Canning Vale ODE 114 | Armadale ODE 2-117
Armadale ODE produced a dominant all-round performance to secure an eight-wicket win. With the bat, Brad Robertson led the chase, supported by unbeaten contributions from Ash Garven and Corey Mullane, comfortably reaching the target.
Armadale’s bowlers set the tone, led by Joel Elsley (three wickets), Ash Garven (two wickets) and Hayden Grant (two wickets), restricting Canning Vale to 114.
One Day F
Hilton Bicton ODF 89 | Armadale ODF 3–91
Armadale ODF produced a dominant performance to secure a comfortable seven-wicket victory.
Warren Francis (three wickets) and Narendeepak Vinoba Gandhi (two wickets) led a disciplined attack, well supported by contributions across the bowling unit to restrict Hilton Bicton to 89.
In reply, Stacey Barrett set the tone at the top, with Dean Dsylva (21 of 16) and Ashok Kumar B.P guiding Armadale to the target with ease.
One Day G
Phoenix ODG 5–188 | Armadale ODG 8–139
Armadale ODG put up a competitive effort in a challenging chase, led by a determined innings from Rishanth Manickam Sanjeevi (64), with support from Akash Nathan Philip (32).
Despite the loss, Armadale’s bowlers worked hard, with wickets shared across the attack, including contributions from Aadithya Rajagopal Shankar, Rishanth Manickam Sanjeevi, Amar Someshi and Arun Raja Segar Veluchamy, each picking up a wicket.
One Day H
Armadale ODH 9–165 | Willetton Crows ODH 73
Armadale ODH set up a commanding win with a steady batting performance, led by Dalton Briggs, with valuable support from David Armstrong and Peter Smith to post a competitive total.
The bowlers then took full control of the match, dismissing Willetton cheaply in a dominant display.
Dean Yetton led the way with an outstanding four-wicket haul, while support came from Dalton Briggs and Paul Edwards, as wickets were shared across the attack to seal a comprehensive 92-run victory.
One Day J
Roleystone-Karragullen ODJ 8–221 | Armadale ODJ 83
Armadale ODJ faced a tough challenge chasing a large total, with Derek Goscombe top-scoring in a difficult batting innings.
Armadale’s bowlers battled hard against a strong opposition batting lineup, with wickets shared across the attack.
Derek Goscombe led the way with three wickets, supported by Robert Goscombe, Nikhil Noronha and Ryan Eddington, each picking up a wicket despite the eventual result.
