The Serpentine Jarrahdale RSL is calling on ex service persons and serving personal to join them as they seek new members.

RSL member Bob McGuire has been involved in recruiting members for more than 15 years.

Mr McGuire said he enjoys meeting new people and signing them up.

“I also enjoy helping out the RSL,” he said.

Mr McGuire said it was not just ex service persons that were eligible to join the RSL.

“We also have memberships for relations of ex service persons,” he said.

“In addition to that anyone still serving can join us as an affiliate member where they are issued with a badge and members card and they can get to go into any RSL club in Australia as a member.”

Mr McGuire said the affiliate memberships were available to those in the fire brigade, volunteer firefighters, ambulance workers and police officers.

“They are all welcome to join us at the Serpentine Jarrahdale RSL,” he said.
