A high-speed police chase through the streets of Gosnells ended in a crash and arrest in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Around 3:45am on June 4, police spotted a stolen Nissan Pathfinder on Dorothy Street and tried to pull it over. The driver allegedly refused to stop, sparking a pursuit through local streets.
It is alleged the man drove recklessly and at high speeds before losing control and crashing into a roundabout at the intersection of Fremantle Road and Corfield Street.
He then fled on foot but was caught shortly after by police.
A 20-year-old man from Cannington has been charged with multiple offences, including aggravated home burglary, stealing a motor vehicle, reckless driving, and drug possession.
He was refused bail and appeared in Fremantle Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
