Australians, you’ve just been sold out.
While you struggle to save for a deposit, while your kids give up on the dream of ever owning a home, the Albanese government has quietly handed over the keys to our housing market—to foreign hedge funds.
Yes, foreign hedge funds.
Billion-dollar financial monsters from overseas will now build and own entire neighbourhoods right here on Australian soil. But here’s the catch: they will never sell them to Australians.
These homes are not for you. Not for your kids. Not for any Aussie family. They’re being built purely to rent—forever.
Welcome to the future: you rent for life, from foreign billionaires, on your own land.
This isn’t a policy failure. This is deliberate.
The government is bending over backwards to give these foreign investors tax breaks, planning fast-tracks, and sweet deals. Meanwhile, young Australians are working two jobs and still can’t afford a house. Why? Because these hedge funds will pay anything to dominate the market. They don’t care if building costs skyrocket. They’ll just throw more money at it—money you and I can’t compete with.
Soon you won’t even be able to afford a local builder or tradie—because they’ll be paid double by these foreign developers.
Labor calls it “Build-to-Rent.” I call it Build-to-Control.
They say it’s about “fixing” the housing crisis. Rubbish. This is about creating a permanent renter class—you, your family, and every future Australian—dependent on global corporations for a roof over your head.
And don’t think your superannuation is safe either. It’s being poured into these very same foreign schemes. That’s right—your retirement savings are being used to build houses you’ll never own, in a country you used to call yours.
Meanwhile, Albanese and his ministers are off selling farmland, housing land, and who knows what else to foreign interests, with no chance for everyday Australians to even compete.
This is treason by policy. Our leaders have abandoned us. They don’t govern for Australians anymore—they govern for the global elite. This is about consolidating power, land, and wealth into the hands of a few. If that sounds extreme, it’s because it is.
We are watching the Australian dream being systematically dismantled—and most people are asleep at the wheel.
Think I’m being dramatic?
Look around. Try buying a house. Try getting a builder. Try saving enough. And now imagine doing all that while a hedge fund outbids you, outpays your tradies, and owns the home you used to dream about.
Australians, this is your wake-up call.
Your land is being sold. Your homes are being stolen. Your future is being traded away behind closed doors.
Get angry. Get loud. Get active. Or get ready to rent forever from your new corporate landlords.
