Two buses were involved in a crash on Ranford Road, in Canning Vale on March 9.

DFES and St John Ambulance personnel rushed to the scene of a bus crash in Canning Vale on Tuesday morning.

According to WA Police, a Transperth bus collided with a charter bus on Ranford Road – near Brennan Avenue – around 7.50am on March 9.

The Transperth bus was transporting adults and children, while the charter bus was taking students to school.

Eight children and one adult were treated at the scene, before being conveyed to various nearby hospitals. None of the injuries were life-threatening.

The crash caused congestion issues throughout Canning Vale and surrounds, with motorists urged to avoid the area.

Traffic Enforcement Group Crash Investigators are now conducting enquiries into the incident.

Police are also calling for people with dash-cam or CCTV footage of the incident to come forward.
