Comedy fans are in for a treat as much-loved Aussie comedian Dave O’Neil brings his hit stand-up show ‘Overweight Lightweight’ to Don Russell Performing Arts Centre in Thornlie this August.
Famous for his cheeky larrikin humour and TV appearances on ‘Spicks and Specks’ and ‘Have You Been Paying Attention’, Dave has been making audiences laugh for nearly 30 years.
The one-night-only performance on Thursday, August 21 promises 90 minutes of non-stop laughs, with Dave joined on stage by his long-time friend and podcast co-host Brad Oakes.

“It’s fantastic that the City can bring well-known acts like Dave O’Neil to the heart of Thornlie,” she said.
“Whether you’re looking for your next catch up with friends or even a date night, this is sure to be a fun night out with plenty of laughs.”
