Mundijong Police will continue to conduct patrols in the Byford area after a spate of burglaries.

Mundijong Police will continue to conduct patrols within the Byford area after they received reports about a number of burglaries on homes under construction. 

Police received reports of several burglaries within the Beenyup Grove Estate between September 6 and 9. 

Mundijong Police Senior Sergeant Gailene Hamilton said a number of kitchen and bathroom appliances were stolen from the homes which are under construction. 

“Mundijong Police will work with the building industry to assist in reducing theft from homes under construction,” she said. 

“Patrols are and have been conducted and will continue to be conducted. 

“I would encourage members of the public to report any behaviours that may seem suspicious to them to the police.”
