A fatal crash that occurred in Armadale on the evening of Monday, June 9 is being investigated by Major Crash officers.

Police received reports a truck had collided with a pedestrian on South Western Highway at approximately 6:30pm.

A section of the highway between Third Road and Albany Highway was closed as Department of Fire and Emergency Services members and St John WA attended the scene.

The pedestrian which was a man in his 30s was conveyed to Armadale Hospital in critical condition where he later died.
