Homicide detectives are investigating the incident and circumstances around a man who was located with serious injuries at Bedfordale two months ago.
At approximately 12:30pm on Friday April 18, the victim was found lying unconscious near the driver’s side of his silver Holden Commodore sedan by a member of the public.
The 53-year-old male victim, Mr Elmars Kalejs, was found at the carpark adjacent to the Settlers’ Common Environment Centre, in the vicinity of Triton Crescent and Trundle Trail.
Mr Kalejs was taking to Royal Perth hospital by emergency services in serious condition with head injuries and broken ribs.
Sadly, he died on Tuesday June 24 from those injuries.
Detective senior sergeant Jarrod Manson from the Homicide squad is asking the public for even the smallest piece of information that could be a key to solving this case and giving answers to Mr Kalejs family.
“Somebody out there may know what happened, and exactly how Mr Kalejs sustained these injuries,” he said.
“We want to find the explanation, and we believe that’s possible with the help of the community.”
Detectives are particularly seeking for any information during the 24-hour period between midday Thursday April 17 and Friday April 18.
