Mick Churchman was on his way to collect his newly serviced ute at City Discount Tyres Kelmscott when he received the call his vehicle had been put through the window.
“I thought they were joking,” Mr Churchman said.
“We turned around the corner and my car’s halfway in the building.”
A vehicle hit Mr Churchman’s ute, causing it to go into the store, according to police.
Police have confirmed there were no injuries to any persons but there was significant non-structural damage to the building.
Donna Smedley was working in the office when she heard a loud crash.
Ms Smedley said the vehicle had rammed into the waiting area.
“People, when they’re waiting for their car, they normally stand in there,” she said.
“I was lucky I was in the office.”
