A Willetton yoga instructor is asking people to stretch their bodies and open their hearts to aid Ukrainians in their time of need.
Narendra Nathan runs Sanatana Yoga Academy, and on May 28 he will host one-hour Yoga sessions between 2pm and 6pm at Hillview Multicultural Centre.
All proceeds will go towards the Ukranian Association of WA, but there is no set fee.
“You can attend any session that is convenient for you,” he said.
“There are no fixed fees.
“Just donate from your heart.
“All your donations will go to the Ukrainian Association of Western Australia to buy urgent supplies for the people of Ukraine.
“First Aid packs and medicines are some items in urgent need.
“Come along with your family and friends and enjoy a session of Yoga and feel the difference.
“Whether you are a beginner who has never done Yoga or an experienced practitioner this is an opportunity for you to practice Yoga and at the same time help fellow human beings undergoing immense suffering.
“Bring your own Yoga mat, drinking water and plenty of love and happiness.”
Mr Nathan also credited the City of Canning for allowing him free use of the multicultural centre to aid what he sees as an incredibly important cause.
You can register on Eventbrite, or call or email Mr Nathan directly at email@example.com or 0438 496 040.
