Nominations are now open for the 2026 Guild Community Pharmacy Awards, with the Pharmacy Guild of Australia calling on the public to spotlight the community pharmacies and pharmacists making a real difference.
The awards honour those delivering top-quality care, supporting patients through illness, and stepping up when other services are closed. From trusted advice to frontline healthcare, community pharmacies are often the first stop for many Australians.
“Every community has a pharmacy team that’s making a difference,” National President of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia, said Professor Trent Twomey said.
“These awards recognise everyday excellence and giving Australians the chance to say thank you.”
Across the country, there are more than 6,000 community pharmacies, with 430 million visits made each year. Whether it’s a pharmacist who go extra mile, a standout team, or a student already making waves, these awards make sure they get the recognition they deserve.
There are three national titles up for grabs. There’s the Community Pharmacy of the Year, Community Pharmacist of the Year and Student Pharmacist of the Year.
Finalists will be chosen from each state and territory, with national winners announced at the 2026 Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference on the Gold Coast.
