The annual Careers and Enterprise Expo was a huge success last weekend for the third consecutive year of the event.
Held on both Friday and Saturday last week at Byford Secondary College, students, businesses, job seekers and community members were invited to share information about their work and investigate future career pathway options.

With masterclasses, interactive activities and information booths, the Serpentine Jarrahdale community was treated to two days of networking and education opportunities.
Property development and management company Richard Noble, which is also developing a new community in Cardup, was a first-time exhibitor at this year’s expo.
Richard Noble managing director Alex Gregg said it was a great opportunity to connect with the future workforce of the area.
“Community and connection are the cornerstones of our Constellar at Cardup Junction project and we welcomed the opportunity to participate in this wonderful initiative by Principal Paul Jones and his team at Byford Secondary College,” he said.
“Our team really enjoyed talking and connecting with students and their families, as well as the 80 or so other exhibitors.
“It’s a great program and a real one stop shop for local young people to learn more about the many pathways and career options available to them.”
The Career and Enterprise Expo is the only event of its kind held in the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale with plans the event will be held again next year.
