The Armadale Branch of Citizens Advice Bureau’s twentieth year of service to the Armadale district was marked by a celebration morning tea held at the Byford Country Club.

The event also acknowledged twenty years of volunteering by local stalwart Rae Wright.

Current and previous volunteers and employees attended, together with recently appointed CEO of Citizens Advice Bureau WA Dion Dosualdo and the member for Burt Matt Keogh.

Former CAB Armadale Chairperson Dr Tony Buti sent a message of congratulations to the gathering as he was visiting Esperance in his role as Minister for Education.

The Citizens Advice Bureau has provided a wide range of information and connection to specialist services for local residents experiencing difficulties and challenges.

The branch services include a free J.P. service three days per week and operates Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm due to the efforts of nine willing volunteers.

CAB is an independent not-for-profit organization operating in WA since 1963,with a mission to connect people with information and services to assist them make informed decisions.

The organization is funded by the WA Department of Communities and Department of Justice.
