Single and foster mums celebrated

Being a mum is often one of the most rewarding jobs there is.

But let’s not kid ourselves – it’s also hard work.

And it can be even harder for single mums who often do it all alone, and foster mums who often have to be a healer as much as a nurturer. And there’s no one to hand out gold stars for the effort put in each day.

This Saturday, Byford’s Centrepoint Church are celebrating local single and foster mums for who they are and the amazing work that they are doing.

A Mothers’ Day High Tea will be held at the Oakford Community Centre on Foxton Drive between 10 and 11.30am.

Childcare will be provided.

The event is free, but registration is necessary for catering purposes. So to be spoiled like you should be, register via: https://events.humanitix.com/mother-s-day-high-tea-bk92ljq7
