Inaugural staff members returned for the special event.

Willandra Primary School has officially turned 30.

Students, and past and present staff had a wonderful day celebrating the school’s milestone on Saturday, November 18.

The occasion was marked by an ‘inaugural staff’ morning tea, and an official assembly and cake-cutting, attended by local member for Armadale Dr Tony Buti.

Alumni celebrated the school’s history, achievements, and special role within the Armadale community.

On display were the meticulously restored artifacts unearthed during the recent time capsule excavation. Special memories were shared by existing students who read letters from the time capsule which was buried 30 years ago.

Staff, students and community also enjoyed a walk down memory lane with an art exhibition, performing arts display and open classrooms.
