The oldest of three children, Member for Gosnells Chris Tallentire has lived in Thornlie for the past nine years.
Mr Tallentire said he found too many people particularly in the suburbs did not get to share in the great wealth WA offered inspiring him to pursue a career in politics and share the state’s wealth with everyone.
With 18 days left until the state election Mr Tallentire said he is busy campaigning.
“I have campaigned continually for the past eight years on behalf of everyone,” he said.
“Right now it is busy but getting out there and listening to people is meat and drink to me.”
Mr Tallentire said he is committed to the Thornlie line extension.
“I’ve persuaded my party to back the Madding Regeneration plan,” he said.
“Lissiman Street is on the brink of renewal and with passionate people we have saved the Don Russell Centre from closure.”
