Gosnells residents are being urged to enrol now or update their details ahead of this year’s City of Gosnells Council Election, which will be held on Saturday, October 18.
Enrolments and any changes to enrolment details must be submitted by 5pm on Friday, August 22.
People who own property in the City but do not live there can also apply to be added to the City’s Owners’ and Occupiers’ Roll to vote in the upcoming election.
This year, six Councillors will be elected to serve four-year terms. The City’s Mayor and six other Councillors will remain in office until the next election in 2027.
While voting in local government elections is not compulsory, the City says casting a vote is the most effective way to help shape how the community is represented and governed.
