The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale free verge plant program is back on.
The shire was recently recognised by the State Government’s Waterwise Council Program and to aid this, the Shire is hoping the verge plant program will help boost our local waterways.
What this means is that residents can apply for up to 10 free plants for their residential properties.
By doing this, the initiative will aim to improve community health and wellbeing, urban cooling, local water quality and increase biodiversity and habitat restoration for local wildlife.
