Six people were injured in a serious crash on Tonkin Highway near Maddington Road early this morning.

On November 9, at about 6.55am, a black SsangYong Kyron sedan was travelling south when the car drifted onto the media strip, overcorrected, returned to the road hitting an orange Hino truck.

The car then crossed the median strip and entered the northbound lanes of Tonkin Highway and collided with a white Mitsubishi Express Van.

A green Toyota Camry station sedan then hit both cars.

The 42-year-old female driver from the Kyron received minor head injuries and was taken by hospital.

The 33-year-old male driver of the Hino was not injured but the 26-year-old male driver of the Mistsubishi Express received leg injuries and the 20-year-old male passenger of the same car received minor injuries.

A 27-year-old male driver of the Triton also received leg injuries and was treated at Royal Perth Hospital and a 44-year-old male driver of the Toyota Camry received minor injuries.

Traffic Enforcement Group officers are investigating.

The investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash or anyone with dash cam footage from the area.
