Police want to speak to this man in relation to an alleged indecent assault at Sherwood train station on May 30.

Armadale detectives are calling for information following an alleged indecent assault on a 30-year-old woman in Armadale on May 30.

About 1pm the woman was sitting on a bench waiting for a train at the Sherwood train station on Railway Avenue.

A man sat down next to the woman and attempted to start a conversation with her before he moved forward and allegedly indecently assaulted her.

The woman shouted and the man walked away.

The man was described as being in his 30s with an olive complexion, 176 to 180 centimetres, solid build with short black hair, a moustache and stubble.

He was wearing blue jeans and a black jacket with a CA motif on the front.

Detectives would like to speak to anyone who was at the train station around the time who may have seen the man.
