The Gosnells Hawks league team remain the only undefeated team in WAAFL Division C2 with a hard fought victory over Swan Valley last week.

The game was close for most of the day but Gosnells was able to gain control in the second half.

Final scores were Gosnells 16-15 (111) Swan Valley 10-2 (62).

Best in an even team effort were Josh Hall, Zac Ridley, Jayden Woods (6 goals) and Ryan Davies.

The reserve team struggled in the heavy conditions and fell in to win by one goal.

Final scores were Gosnells 8-15 (63) Swan Valley 9.3 (57).

Best for the Hawks were Michael Bennell, Daniel Fitzgerald, Arron Gould and James Bubrzycki.

The Thirds now competing in E2 Grade found the opposition too strong but coach Stuart Bates was optimistic his team can improve in the next few weeks.

Final scores were West Coast 10-20 (80) Gosnells 5-3 (34).

Best players were Lomas Roberts, Russell Fuller, Cody Staines and Dennis Luffman.

The colt’s team won their third game in succession with a comfortable victory over Swan Valley.

Final scores were Gosnells 12-13 (85) Swan Valley 7.6 (48).

Colts player Coree Thomson celebrated his selection in the WAAFL Colts Team by booting 11 goals the previous week in the reserves.

Club stalwart Ryan (Private) Davies will play his 250 club game this week making him the fourth highest in games played in our 107 year club history.

Next Saturday Gosnells will be home to Canning Vale.

The Thirds will travel to Coolbinia Reserve to play Coolbinia West Perth at 2.30 pm.
