The under 12s played Rockingham in the finals a few weeks ago.

The under 12’s at the Armadale Soccer Club had a great season this year making it to the grand final.

They took on Rockingham on September 17, in a nail biting game, which saw them concede victory with a late goal from Rockingham.

Coach Kevin Brophy said it was a great effort and the team played well.

“The boys played hard right up to the last second of the game going down one nil,” he said.

“It’s been an amazing season.”

Under 12’s goalie Jedd Moya said he never lets it get him down if a goal slips past his gloved hands.

Jedd has been playing soccer for three years and has been a goalie for two.

He said he loves the challenges of the sport and using his hands.

A Barcelona supporter Jedd said soccer was a great game.

“It is a lot of fun,” he said.

“We’ve had a great season but Rockingham were the better team.”
