The City of Gosnells observed Remembrance Day on November 11 by the cenotaph at the Civic Centre gardens.

Hosted by the Gosnells RSL a group of more than 100 people observed a minute’s silence at the 11th hour to commemorate fallen soldiers who had paid the ultimate price.

The Last Post was played and the Australian flag flown at half mast.

This was followed by the national anthem and the laying of the wreaths by local members of Parliament, City of Gosnells mayor Olwen Searle and members of the public.
